Pinto Beans with Fire Roasted Tomatoes


Pintos with Fire Roasted Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry pinto beans
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt coarse
- 1 teaspoon pepper coarse
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 can 14.5 oz. fire roasted tomatoes
- ΒΌ small white onion 1" diced
Optional items to add.
- cooked – ground beef, sliced smoked sausage or ground sausage
- heat – jalapeno, hot sauce, whatever you like to bring some spice to the mix.
Instructions
- In a medium sized pan bring all ingredients to a boil.
- Cover and reduce to a simmer for a couple hours stirring as needed.
