Pintos with Fire Roasted Tomatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dry pinto beans
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt coarse
  • 1 teaspoon pepper coarse
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 1 can 14.5 oz. fire roasted tomatoes
  • ΒΌ small white onion 1" diced

Optional items to add.

  • cooked - ground beef, sliced smoked sausage or ground sausage
  • heat - jalapeno, hot sauce, whatever you like to bring some spice to the mix.

Instructions
 

  • In a medium sized pan bring all ingredients to a boil.
  • Cover and reduce to a simmer for a couple hours stirring as needed.
